Crystalmine the Typespecimen
I made this series of typographies using collage and image processing. There are 4-8 styles for each font. The rough book cover and the photography create a crystal mine atmosphere. With butterfly binding and smooth inside pages, the book looks like a jewelry box. The interior can be opened to 180 degrees.

With today’s technology, it is possible to outsource mental tasks through apps. This form of externalization can benefit us by increasing our efficiency. But are there any consequences that could arise with the possible dependency on outsourcing? The holographic installation presents the parts and functions of the brain that are positively and negatively affected by certain apps.

I took a series of photos as the light refracts through the glass and make a selection for my collection. The book cover consists of high-gloss double cardboard. The entire book makes a very solid impression, like a glass.
